The owned vessel certified by International Maritime Organization (IMO) for International Safety Management (ISM) Code, International Ship & Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code, with crewed by International Convention on Standards of Training Certification and Watching for Seafarers (STCW) Code.

Because Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is the inland country, the ESLSC ships use the port of Djibouti, as its base port and provide liner service to/from North Continent, Mediterranean, Arabian Gulf, India, Far East and Asia, including Japan. ESLSC has slot charter arrangement with a number of major steamship companies such as Maersk, APL, PIL, NYK, and Hyundai etc, in order to offer weekly service for containerized and RO/RO shipment from any of its trading routes including Japan.
